Kate is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialled Eating Disorder Clinician. Kate has extensive experience in the eating disorder and mental health arena over 20+ years, she is passionate about supporting adults and adolescents with complex eating difficulties, malnutrition, disordered eating and body image concerns.
Kate has trained and practices in evidenced based eating disorder therapies and is a Size Inclusive Health Australia provider, offering care through a weight inclusive lens for individuals and families. Kate works with empathy to gently challenge and support clients to draw on their strengths in bringing about change.
She provides supervision for dietitians and training in eating disorder nutrition therapy for mental health practitioners, her work is underpinned by client centred and trauma informed care, utilising counselling skills drawn from a range of models.
