Jess is a registered Clinical Psychologist, board approved supervisor and researcher. She has over a decade of international experience working with children, adolescents, adults (and their families) who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, disordered eating, body image concerns, low self-esteem, depression and relationship issues. She is dedicated to providing individualised therapy, informed by the latest research, in a way that feels helpful and hopeful. Jess has a relaxed, collaborative and compassionate therapeutic approach. Together, she aims to help clients achieve specific treatment goals, through understanding experiences and developing new, lasting skills for the future.

After her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Australia Jess moved to the UK to further her psychology studies and career. She completed both her PhD and then her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Maudsley Hospital, King’s College London. During her training and in the years since, Jess has provided evidence-based treatments (e.g. cognitive behavioural, family therapy) for a wide range of difficulties with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.

Jess strives to be an active scientist-practitioner. Jess has been involved in research exploring early stages of mental illness, randomised controlled trials of psychological therapies and novel brain-based interventions, as well as developing early intervention mental health services. Jess has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, presented at many international conferences and has been the successful recipient of numerous research grants and awards.
